The Whimsy Returned — Terms and Conditions

1. What you're purchasing

The Whimsy Returned is a monthly membership operated by Laani Lane Creative ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing, you agree to these terms.

Membership includes:

• Ongoing weekly content, delivered via Skool
• Monthly co-working sessions
• Monthly Q&A (questions submitted ahead of time)
• Access to the growing content library for the duration of your membership
• The bonus Tell Me A Story workbook, delivered on signup

2. Price and billing

Membership costs $147 AUD per month, billed automatically on the same date each month from your signup date, until cancelled in accordance with these terms.

Prices are in Australian dollars. Payment is processed through Skool's built-in payment system, and by subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your provided payment method via that system.

We reserve the right to change the monthly price for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not apply retroactively to a period already paid for.

3. Minimum commitment

Membership requires a minimum commitment of three (3) consecutive monthly payments from your signup date.

You may not cancel before the end of your third billing period. After your third payment has been processed, your membership automatically continues month to month, and you may cancel at any time in accordance with clause 4.

If your payment method fails during the minimum commitment period, you remain responsible for the outstanding payments required to complete the three-month minimum, and we may re-attempt charging or request updated payment details to complete this.

4. Cancellation after the minimum term

Once your three-month minimum commitment is complete, you may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, you will retain access until that date, and you will not be charged again.

To cancel, cancel your subscription directly through your Skool account settings, or email [email protected] and we will process it on your behalf.

5. No refunds

Payments already made are non-refundable, including if you choose not to engage with the content, attend co-working, or use the Q&A sessions. This applies both during and after the minimum commitment period.

[If you do want to offer any exception, e.g. a cooling-off period for the very first payment, this is where it would go. Common in Australia is a short cooling-off window, worth asking your reviewer what's standard/required.]

6. Access and rejoining

If you cancel and later wish to rejoin, you will have access to the full content library as it stands at that time, and a new three-month minimum commitment will apply.

Access to the membership is personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or transferred to another person. We reserve the right to suspend access for any account found to be shared or used in breach of these terms.

7. Changes to content

The content library, co-working schedule, and Q&A format may change, grow, or be updated over time as the membership evolves. We do not guarantee a fixed schedule of new content, though new material will continue to be added on an ongoing basis as described in our marketing.

8. Intellectual property

All content within The Whimsy Returned, including videos, audio, workbooks, and written material, is owned by Laani Lane Creative and provided for your personal use as a member only.

You may not record, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or share membership content outside the platform, including in other paid programs, public posts, or with non-members.

9. Not professional advice

The Whimsy Returned provides general business and mindset guidance. It is not financial, legal, tax, or professional business advice specific to your circumstances. You are responsible for your own business decisions.

10. Code of conduct

Members are expected to engage respectfully in co-working sessions, Q&A, and any community spaces. We reserve the right to remove access, without refund, for behaviour that is abusive, harassing, or disruptive to other members.

11. Platform

Membership access, billing, and community features are delivered via Skool. Access requires creating a Skool account and agreeing to Skool's own terms of use and payment terms. Your subscription is billed and managed through Skool's payment system.

We reserve the right to change platforms in the future, in which case we will provide reasonable notice and support to transition existing members.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued membership after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes affecting price or the minimum commitment will be communicated to current members in advance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
